The Niagara Ostomy Association provides support and information services to ostomates in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. Persons who have had a colostomy, ileostomy, or urostomy operation, and who therefore must wear an appliance (or pouch), and persons who have had alternate ostomy procedures.
Our group mission is to be of service and assistance to all ostomates in the region, their family and friends, by holding monthly information/ social meetings, visiting ostomates in hospital or home and publishing a monthly newsletter.
Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, from September to June (excluding December), at the St. Catharines Public Library Rotary Room, 55 Church St., St. Catharines, Ontario. The meetings start at 7:15 and run until approximately 8:30, with refreshments served at the conclusion of the meeting. Be sure to check the calender of events for speaker information.
